Maple Acres continues the family tradition of "sugaring" in Southeastern Noble County, Indiana. Over 70 years ago the Owen family began the springtime ritual of tapping sugar maples, gathering sap and boiling off in flat pans over a brick arch deep in the sugarbush. Although the equipment has been updated, the family continues the tradition today.
